Your gift funds the send-offs, service projects, and workshops that turn a network of more than 11,000 Black Yale alumni into an active community. We are entirely volunteer-run, so most of what we spend goes straight to programming.

The Yale Black Alumni Association is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 33-4509752, based in New Haven, CT. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law, and you will receive an emailed confirmation for your records.

Other ways to give

Some gifts need a quick conversation. Email us if you are giving through an employer matching program or a donor advised fund, sending a gift by Zelle, transferring stock or securities, requesting an invoice, sponsoring a chapter event, or if you simply have a question about anything at all.

When your employer or fund asks for our details, use Yale Black Alumni Association, EIN 33-4509752. Older organizations shared our name and are no longer active, so the EIN is the reliable way to identify us.

Helps cover food and welcome materials at events like a local Summer Send-Off.

Helps buy materials for a chapter's Yale Day of Service project, from books for incarcerated readers to tools for a community garden.

Helps fund a college-preparedness workshop for middle and high school students, their families, and mentors.
