YBAA exists to foster lifelong connection, engagement, advocacy, mentorship, and community among Black Yale alumni around the world.
We are an independent, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving graduates of Yale College and Yale’s graduate and professional schools.

YBAA and The House
The Afro-American Cultural Center at Yale—known as The House—is the on-campus cultural home for Black students. YBAA is the alumni association. We are separate organizations with a shared commitment to Black Yale community, and we collaborate on opportunities for alumni to mentor and support current students.
